COLLECTED PRINT AND MOBILE APP

EDITORIAL DESIGN

The objective was to create a new app and print piece based on a topic we care about. Collected was designed to bring communities of collectors together, allowing users to share their interests and discover others.

PROCESS

The concept was created based on my family's love for collecting. I then brainstormed ways other collectors can share their interests freely. I started with the print, creating fun illustrations that give you a nostalgic feeling that collectors get when looking at their beloved objects. When creating the app, it was given a cleaner look, and was a more modern feel but giving the users the freedom to customize their accounts.

FINAL RESULT - PRINT

The print component is a monthly magazine that highlights popular collectibles and features creators and collectors sharing their stories. Playful hand-drawn illustrations are paired with photography to create a fun yet modern feel.

FINAL RESULT - APP

The application is a social media platform where users can easily post their collectibles and explore different communities. The app design remains clean while maintaining the same playful qualities as the magazine, using bright, bold colours and decorative elements for personalization.
