What is Screen Printing?

Screen printing is one of the most versatile printing methods on the market.  It can be used to print on paper, paperboard, plastic, glass, metals, fabrics, nylon and cotton to create eye-catching signage, decals, labels, and custom clothing.

A stencil which defines the image to be printed is created either manually or photo-chemically right on the screen made of a mesh-like material (porous fabric or stainless steel mesh) tightly stretched over a wooden or metal frame.  Ink is put on the top of the screen which is placed over the material to be printed.  The ink is forced through open areas of the screen where no stencil is applied using a squeegee – resulting in a formation of the desired image on the material.

Pricing

Since screen printing is capable of such diversity, costs vary widely from project to project.  Yes Canada offers highly competitive pricing in the industry and caters to your every want and need so that your promotional products are something you can be proud of.

Your price will depend on the number of colours, locations, the total quantity of your order, and the colour of your base garment.  There is a standard setup fee of $25 per colour for designs that are no bigger than 10 x 10.  If your design requirements are larger, your price will vary accordingly.
